You invoice your customer directly, based on your contract with them. Then, SecureDynamics invoices you—at a lower cost—so you retain your margin and maximize profitability.

To get started, you simply need to be a registered Zscaler partner in the U.S.—or in Canada, as long as you can transact in USD. That’s it! ✅

How do we co-manage, exactly?
While SecureDynamics handles most of the heavy lifting, co-management ensures you stay front and center with your customers. Here’s what that looks like:

✅ Seamless Ticket Flow: You stay in the loop on all trouble tickets and proactive changes—we keep you informed, not in the dark.

How are bandwidth overages accounted for?
Each month, Zscaler provides SecureDynamics with a report detailing average bandwidth usage per customer. If any customer exceeds 10GB/user/month, we take one of two actions:
🔹 Smart Traffic Bypass – SecureDynamics evaluates the safest traffic to bypass without compromising security. This helps bring usage back under the limit while maintaining protection. Both the customer and partner are informed before any changes are made.
🔹 Traffic Surcharge – If a customer requires additional bandwidth to pass through Zscaler, the overage charge is added to their monthly invoice. Utilization reports are available upon request.
Regardless of the action taken, SecureDynamics must cover all oversubscribed bandwidth costs to Zscaler—which will be reflected on the next month’s invoice.

What happens if the customer doesn't pay?
At SecureDynamics, we understand that cash flow matters. If a customer isn’t paying, we’ll work with you in good faith to help you recover what’s owed.
🔹 Your Responsibility as a VAR: If your customer doesn’t pay, SecureDynamics still requires payment to cover the Zscaler subscription. This means you are effectively extending credit to your customer.
🔹 Suspension Option: If non-payment persists, you can formally request that we suspend the customer’s access to Zscaler services.
🔹 No Direct Engagement: SecureDynamics is your distribution partner, not a competing Zscaler VAR. Taking a customer direct is never an option. However, if your business relationship with the customer needs to change, we can work together to migrate them to another Zscaler VAR.
